A pretty 1881 miss top pairs with the 1881 skirt, M8191. This afternoon visiting or walking ensemble is worn while paying calls on friends & neighbors. It should be made of practical fabrics in shades of navy, brown or dark green to conceal dust, soot or mud. The self-fabric ruched trim is at the collar, elbows & hemline. Bows of contrast fabric are at the neckline & back. The top has formfitting seams, opens down the front & is underlined with cotton.

Cotton/Cotton Blends. Contrast: Satin/Sateen, Silk. Underlining: Medium Weight Cotton, Broadcloth, Muslin.
